How to Order

Placing an order is simple and safe. Simply browse our store and add items to your shopping bag. When you're ready to check out click the "checkout" button and you'll be sent to our secure server. If you're not comfortable with on-line transactions, you can always call, fax or e-mail your order to us. For your safety, never put any credit card information on e-mails.



Payments

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club through our secure server.

We NOW accept Paypal payment, through Express Paypal Checkout. You do not have to have a Paypal account to pay through Paypal, all major credit cards and checking accounts are accepted via Paypal.

Taxes:

Some orders shipping to the state of Virginia are subject to 4.5% tax rate. Taxes are automatically calculated at check out.



Shipping Services & Fees

We use Canada Post, USPS, or FedEx Ground Service as needed. All orders must be processed prior to shipment. Most orders are process within 48 business hours. We do not ship on weekends, orders placed after 12 PM EST on a Friday will not be processed until the following Monday. If you have not selected a shipping service, Expedited Parcel will be selected. Most order ship from Montreal, Quebec. Some ship from our satellite location in Virginia. If you are in Canada and would like Express shipping, please contact us for availability.

For shipping within Canada:

To Quebec & Ontario: Normal transit time 1-3 business days, depending on province $8.95 US
To all other provinces (except QC & ON): Normal transit time 3-9 business days, depending on province $10.95 US

For shipping to USA:

Airmail: Normal transit time 7-10 business days, depending on state. Please keep in mind most items ship from Canada. FIRST CLASS MAIL equivalent for US customers. No enroute tracking is avilable with this service, insurance is included. $8.95 US
Express: Normal transit time 3-5 business days, depending on state. Please keep in mind most items ship from Canada. PRIORITY MAIL equivalent for US customers. Includes tracking and insurance. $16.95 US

For shipping to all other Countries: We do not ship parcels over 1KG in weight for all other Countries

Airmail: Orders Under $75 (US) $22.00 US
Airmail: Order Totals $76 - $150 (US) $30.00 US
Airmail: Order Totals above $150 (US) $35.00 US


Customs and Duties

We have shipping facilities in both the USA and Canada. Most orders ship from Montreal, Quebec (Canada). Orders shipped out of the originating country must pass through customs. Duties and taxes charged by the destination country vary from country to country. This is a random process conducted by customs checkpoints. We cannot accurately determine how much these fees will be since it varies from country to country. We have no control over the collection or payment of destination duties or taxes. All duties and custom fees are sole responsiblity of the customer.

Sizing Information

Many designers size differently, so we've taken the time to provide detailed sizing information for practically everything. I you have any questions or concerns regarding sizing, please e-mail us and we will give you all the measurements you need.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be happy with your purchase. In order to minimize returns PLEASE CONTACT US for exact measurements as needed. Regular priced items may be returned within 14 days for a complete refund to the purchasing credit card (less the shipping costs) or for a store credit or exchange. Exchanges available with in-stock items only. New shipping charges will apply to exchanges. Please note that returned items purchased with a free shipping offer or other discounted promotion, with have the standard cost of shipping or discounted promotion subtracted from the refund. Please contact the customer service department for your return authorization.
A return authorization is required for all returns. You must contact us so that we can provide you with the return mailing address. We have one in the USA and on in Canada. Any items returned in less than perfect condition will be returned at the customer's expense.
Sale items are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on merchandise that is on sale. In addition For health reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on swimsuits.

Shopping is fun. Many men don't understand this natural phenomenon, but shopping is FUN. So we do everything to ensure that your shopping experience is securely protected. Providing personal and credit card information over the internet may seem chancy at first, but you actually have more risk when giving your credit card to a waiter after a meal.

We respect your privacy and all information given to Countessina.com is encrypted and is solely used to enhance services available to you. Such as the auto register option we have at checkout. This feature keeps your information securely in memory, to speed future checkouts.

If you have requested information on sales and events, you will be notified by e-mail, and have the option of cancel future e-mails as needed. The Internet should be fun and hassle free, so we will not do anything to violate that.

What happens after I place my order?

We will let you know every step of the way, where your order is.

  1. Once you place an order our system will automatically send you an e-mail confirming the order.
  2. We then check the order to verify that all information is correct and send you an e-mail to let you know your order is being lovingly packaged and ready for shipment. If any items our out-of-stock we will notify you immediately. If you need to change any, now is the time.
  3. After the package has been shipped, we will notify you once again with the package tracking number.
  4. Once you receive the order you should be over the moon & very satisfied and tell everyone you know what great place Countessina.com is for adorable clothes. If not e-mail us and we'll work something out.
